“I have always had a deep connection to art and a feeling that I need to create. As early as I could remember I always had one of two things in my hand, either a pencil or a puzzle piece. In one hand I would draw and create art and in the other I’d solve an elaborate puzzle. It’s a visualization I like to carry with me today because I think it represents the way my mind works, and what you need to be successful – which is the ability to be creative and be a good problem solver.”

Our Founder Aaron Del Monte started his career as a film and IMAX projectionist for the top movie theatre chains in the GTA. With the introduction of digital technology in commercial theater, Aaron became excited about the possibility of bringing the cinema experience into the home. He began working as an audio/visual consultant in the home market, quickly becoming Future Shop’s top home theatre salesman in the country. His success gained interest from prestigious audio/ visual companies within the GTA, where he was hired to work as a designer and installer of home theater systems. As he gained experience, he began to envision the concept of Think Cinema. He wanted to create his own company with an emphasis on performance quality. By developing Think Cinema he was able to give his clients the same personal touch and attention to detail he would expect from an audio/ video consultant. Today Think Cinema elevates home theater by creating optimal performance, while working within each client’s personal taste, budget, and décor. We are proud to be celebrating 10 years of service since the company was founded in 2009.
