Professional display calibration consists of calibrating a TV or projector based on the industry standards so that the user can enjoy uncompromised video fidelity – as the artist intended. With the introduction of new formats like 4K, HDR and Dolby Vision, it is more important than ever to make sure your display is accurately setup.
BRIGHTNESS & CONTRAST
Use the slider for a demonstration of how calibration can benefit your display. The uncalibrated images represent the pictures settings of an average TV out of the box.
The result
Although the pre-calibrated image is more striking, this does not reflect the natural brightness of the original image. Having contrast too high and brightness too low will drastically alter how the picture was intended to look. The jellyfish seem more alive and ethereal now.
